Choosing Your wedding cake should provide a stunning centrepiece for your memorable day. It is very important to provide a personal, friendly and professional service, from initial consultation, right
through to delivery and set-up of the cake at the venue.
Often the couple have definite ideas about the cake they would like for their special day, however, sometimes they just don't know where to begin. I have a wide selection of wedding magazines, as well as pictures of my own range of cakes I have made, and would be delighted to see you in my own home to discuss, draw and design this for you, or alternatively I would be pleased
to visit you if this would be more convenient.
Sometimes budget is a huge consideration, and I will strive to give you the cake you want at as
competitive a price as possible.
The cake is designed with the utmost attention to detail, taking into account the style/colour and details on the dress, the flowers, and style of wedding whether it be simple, traditional, or contemporary, to achieve a very personal and special cake. I make all the sugar flowers by hand and wired bouquets may be kept for several years.
As all wedding cakes are individual and vary enormously in type, style and size, prices are worked out accordingly, and every effort is made to match your budget. Once the wedding cake design, size, shape, colour scheme, flowers etc., have been agreed upon, you just need to sign a confirmation form and pay a 30% deposit to secure the booking. The balance may then be paid by instalments. or in one lump sum to be settled 4 weeks before the wedding date.

Pistachio with real nuts - pistachio, vanilla or white chocolate buttercream
Red velvet cake - with cream cheese frosting
Luscious lemon sponge with elderflower
Rich, light fruit cake with juicy raisins, nuts, cherries and peel and a good slug of Brandy - marzipan
Whilst not able to stock any stands myself, I will be able to advise you on the style to suit your
cake and where they can be hired. I am often able to collect this for you –one less thing to do in the busy pre-wedding days! A member of your wedding party must return the stand to the supplier after the event.
